A novel simple GMPPT method based on probability distribution of global maximum power point under partial shading conditions

A photovoltaic (PV) array having multiple cells in series with bypass diodes may exhibit power peaks under uneven irradiation, therefore an algorithm is required to reach the global maximum point (GMPP). While a lot of methods have been proposed literature, they are usually quite complex and does not fully utilize characteristics PV array. This paper first highlights rapid optimized mathematical simulation using MATLAB find probability distribution voltage at GMPP irradiation conditions temperatures. The resulting 22E6 temperature checked for 4 modules presented, as well optimizations necessary keep time check. From obtained result, we propose simple efficient probability-based capable reaching up 93.64% time.
